Lleyni Mini Wool Pots
Double knit

From our own flock of Lleyn Sheep Our Lleyni Mini Wool Pots are just perfect for smaller projects... these delicious 20 gram pots of tantalising natural dye hues are just the thing for knitting, crochet, weaving and being inspired.

The yarn comes from our own flock of Lleyn sheep, raised on our farm in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. We chose this particular breed because of our strong family connection to the Llyn Peninsula.

Lleyn sheep are a breed of sheep from the Llŷn peninsula in Gwynedd, north-west Wales. They are bred for prolificacy, good mothering, quiet nature, high milk yield and excellent white wool. They are suited to both upland and lowland grazing.

The yarn is a soft crisp DK weight, ideal for boot socks, hand warmers, working jumpers such a Guernsey or fishermans sweaters.  It is machine washable and comes in a variety of shades.

The yarn is hand dyed in our dye studio on the farm using only natural dyes and environmentally friendly mordants.

If you would like more of a similar shade we can produce them just for you in 100g skeins up to a limit of 500 grams.  Please let us know through the contacts page.
